MDAQMD to host Lifestream Blood Drive on Thursday, July 19

Donors receive movie passes, are entered to win a Harley-Davidson motorcycle

VICTORVILLE, Calif. — The Mojave Desert Air Quality Management District is teaming up with Lifestream to host a community blood drive from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, July 19 at MDAQMD headquarters, 14306 Park Ave. in Victorville. Donors at this drive can enter to win a Harley-Davidson motorcycle using promo code LMHDE.

Donors at this drive also each receive two free Fandango movie passes.

Healthy individuals at least 15 years of age may donate blood. Everyone under 18 years of age must provide written parental consent. All prospective donors should be free of infections or illness, weigh at least 110 pounds and not be at risk for AIDS or hepatitis.

Donors receive a free mini-physical as part of the donation process. Donating blood takes about an hour, yet gives someone a lifetime.
