MDAQMD offices to close for Christmas, New Years holidays
Agency will reopen Jan. 2

MOJAVE DESERT AIR BASIN — The Mojave Desert Air Quality Management District will be closed at 4 p.m. Dec. 21, 2018 and will reopen at 8 a.m. Jan. 2, 2019. For any emergency air quality issues, please contact Community Relations and Education Supervisor Ryan Orr at 760-493-3549.
The MDAQMD, a fee-based regulatory agency, is remaining closed during these times for efficiency and as a cost-saving measure. District staff will be available to monitor air quality conditions and keep the public informed of any necessary air quality news and alerts. For complaints please call 800-635-4617.
MDAQMD is the air pollution control authority and permitting agency for the High Desert portion of San Bernardino County and the Palo Verde Valley in Riverside County.
